Who Qualifies?

Businesses of 15 people or more qualify for coverage of their employees and their families.  There is no health questionnaire or age limit for health and dental coverage.

What’s Covered?

100% of essential medical and dental expenses.  Some examples of treatments covered are prescription drugs, laser eye surgery, fertility treatments, naturopathic and alternative treatments by licensed practitioners, crowns, dental implants, periodontics, orthodontics, and more. (CCRA approved expenses only)

The Cost

What’s the Cost?

There are no premiums.  The cost is a 10% administration fee  on the actual medical cost incurred (plus GST and PST where applicable).

Example #1:  Traditional Plan

  1. Premium (a) – Claims (b) = money left over (c)

  2. The insurance company keeps the $2000.00.

Example #2:  Advanced Benefit Solutions Plan

  1. Premium (a) – Claims (b) = money left over (c)
    $5000 (a) – $3000 (b) = $2000 (c)
  2. The cost of processing the claim:
    $3000 (b)  @ 10% plus 5% GST is $315.00
    (Provincial tax must be added where applicable)
  3. $2000 (c) – $315 = $1685
  4. $1685 represents the money left in your company’s account to spend on future claims
